Everyday protection

See problems sooner. Keep routine work routine.

A managed service should do more than wait for somebody to report a fault. We agree what matters, collect useful alerts and deal with maintenance in a controlled way. The exact checks depend on your equipment, software and support agreement.

01

Devices and servers

Our RMM platform supports the different operating systems in a mixed workplace. Checks can include availability, storage, memory, service health, security status and hardware warnings.

02

Controlled software updates

Operating system and approved third-party updates can be scheduled in maintenance windows. Exceptions, restarts and business-critical applications are agreed rather than left to chance.

03

Monitored backup

Failed jobs, missed runs and unusual results can be followed up. We can also review retention, off-site copies, restore testing and the recovery times your business actually needs.

04

Networks and connectivity

Routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, internet connections and failover can be monitored where the equipment supports it, helping us spot loss of service, deterioration and capacity issues.

05

Microsoft 365 and cloud

We support accounts, licensing, email, access and security configuration. Relevant service alerts and administrative changes can be reviewed as part of the agreed Microsoft 365 service.

06

Websites and hosting

Support can cover uptime, WordPress maintenance, website backups, SSL certificates, domain renewals, DNS and hosting resources, with responsibilities documented from the start.

Safe automation

Automatic does not mean uncontrolled

Updates reduce security risk, but an unexpected restart or an incompatible application can disrupt the working day. We build a practical policy around the way your organisation operates.

That can include maintenance windows, staged deployment, restart rules, excluded systems, urgent security updates and reporting on devices that have fallen behind.

Backup you can rely on

A successful job is only part of the answer

A backup screen can show green while important data is missing or recovery would take far too long. Monitoring is combined with sensible questions about coverage and restoration.

Did it run?Failed, missed and unusually small jobs need attention.
Is everything included?Servers, Microsoft 365, cloud apps and website data may need separate protection.
Can it be restored?Test restores provide better evidence than a successful backup notification.
How long will it take?Recovery time should match the importance of the service to the business.

Beyond the office

Your public systems need maintenance too

Your website, domain and hosting are often the first systems a customer sees. MSP247 can bring them into the same support conversation as your computers, network and cloud services.

  • Website and hosting uptime
  • WordPress core, plugin and theme updates
  • Website and database backups
  • SSL certificate and domain renewal dates
  • DNS, email routing and hosting capacity

Common questions

Before you choose a monitoring service

Is the monitoring service staffed 24 hours a day?

The monitoring platform runs continuously. Alerts are handled according to the response arrangements in your support agreement. Continuous automated monitoring should not be confused with a permanently staffed 24-hour helpdesk unless that coverage has been specifically agreed.

Are all software updates installed automatically?

No. Update policies are agreed during onboarding. Security and routine updates can be scheduled automatically, while restarts, business-critical applications, exceptions and major changes are controlled through agreed maintenance windows.

What does monitored backup mean?

It means backup failures, missed jobs and unusual results can be identified and followed up. The exact service may also include retention checks, independent or off-site copies, restore testing and agreed recovery time and recovery point objectives.

Can MSP247 look after websites and hosting as well as office IT?

Yes. Depending on the agreed scope, MSP247 can support WordPress updates, website backups, uptime, SSL certificates, domains, DNS and hosting resources alongside the devices, networks and cloud services used by the business.
